If you’re coming from Schiphol Airport, just take any train going to Amsterdam Central Station. You might consider sharing a taxi, this shouldn’t cost more than 35 euro.

The Uilenburger Synagogue is in a former Jewish neighbourhood in the heart of Amsterdam and is close to many major sites. Take tram 51 from Amsterdam Central station to the Waterlooplein.

De Werkplaats is in the heart of Amsterdam on one of the city’s oldest canals This monumental building lies 20 minutes walk from The Uilenburger Synagogue.

HOUSING

If you are a BA or MA student, you can take part in the free hospitality programme, offered by the members of Beit Ha Chidush. You are more than welcome to stay in our houses. Please let us know in advance if you would like take part, so that arrangements can be made in time. You might wan to bring a sleeping bag and pillow (unless you are very cute).
